I am running the 2024 London Marathon in support of the Children's Liver Disease Foundation.

My cousin Mike's son, Max was born with a rare disease of the Bile ducts called Biliary Atresia. At 7 weeks old Max was admitted to Birmingham Children's Hospital for a surgical procedure which was unfortunately unsuccessful. Max then went on to have a liver transplant at 7 months old. Max is now continuing to have regular checkups and will be on medication for life, however is now a healthy 1.5 year old.

The Children's Liver Disease Foundation offers support and information for parents of children dealing with liver disease and support the children themselves throughout their journey.
