Story
I’m taking on the Robin Hood Half Marathon this September, and I’m raising money for The Friary, a brilliant Nottingham charity supporting homeless and vulnerable adults. I volunteer there, so I’ve seen first-hand just how much they do for people who are struggling. That’s why I’m choosing to support them… they change lives every single day.
I’m absolutely not an experienced runner and I’m already feeling wobbly-kneed about the whole thing, but running the Robin Hood has always been on my list. Being a Nottingham girl, it feels like a rite of passage… even if I may regret that thought around mile 10.
If you’d like to support me (and The Friary), I’d be over the moon. Every pound really does make a difference.
