Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On September 12th 2026, Members of the Homebirth Team are undertaking an 8 hour hike through the Mountains and Coastal path of North Wales.

This year our main project is to begin running our own Homebirth specific antenatal classes. Supporting our families create their birth plans with evidence based informed decisions.

The evening will involve learning about the pain relief options and how to cope with labour in your own home. Discussing the equipment we carry and discussions on emergencies and transfers.

With our fund raising we hope to be able to secure an appropriate venue and resources to support the success of the events.

We will be vlogging it on our socials on the day and hopefully keeping everyone updated of the trip.

The Homebirth Team continue to raise funds for our own Charity, we also continue to use these funds to purchase and upkeep our birth pools and TENS machines. We are always striving to find ways that we can support families through their pregnancies and birth choices.

We are always keen to hear from you with service improvement ideas too!

Thanks again for your time and support

Love The Homebirth Team
