Story
Hi everyone! I'm running the Oxford Half Marathon to raise money for Earth Trust, a charity that means a huge amount to me personally.
Since moving from London to Oxfordshire, I've discovered just how much being close to nature changes everything. Whether I'm walking along Radley Lakes or taking in the breathtaking views from Wittenham Clumps, these places have become part of my daily life, grounding me, recharging me, and connecting me to nature.
Earth Trust's mission is simple but powerful: to bring nature to the doorstep of every person in Oxfordshire. As guardians of 500 hectares of woodland, wildflower meadows, farmland and wetlands, they protect and care for some of the county's most special and inspiring places, and use them to engage people of all ages while demonstrating nature-based solutions to climate change, biodiversity loss, and public health.
I'm lacing up my trainers and putting in the miles because I genuinely believe everyone deserves access to the kind of restorative green spaces that have made such a difference to my own life here. Every pound you donate helps Earth Trust keep those doors open for our whole community.
Please give what you can — it would mean the world to me, and even more to the nature around us. Thank you!
