As some of you may know, Dave and I suffered two miscarriages in 2023 which were completley devastating.

Although all the staff at the hospital and GP surgeries were absolutely amazing and couldn't have been kinder, there was a void afterwards, as life inevitably resumed and we just had to get on with it.

It wasn't until nearly a year afterwards that we realised just how much we were still struggling and started to actively search out some sort of support.

That's when I found the most amazing local charity, who offer counselling services for pregnancy loss amongst other vital services.

They worked really hard to see us both, independently and quickly, to give us the much needed support we were missing and to help us sort through what had happened and move forward.

I couldn't believe that they were right there and we didn't know about them - I wished I'd known sooner.

That's why I'm doing this fundraiser - to give back to this most amazing service so that others in the same situation can get the help and support that they need - and to raise awareness that these guys are out there.

I'll be swimming 10K over the next month for them, for us, for the babies we lost and for everyone out there suffering through loss and fertility issues.
