Story
This year marks the 15 year anniversary of losing my dad to duodenal cancer. As unexpected and difficult as that was, nothing prepared us for the loss of my lovely twin sister, Mags, to pancreatic cancer just 5 years later. And then, in just another 5 years, Helen, one of my oldest friends, also died from pancreatic cancer.
It seems appropriate to do something positive during this difficult year and so in May 2025 I have challenged myself to take on the Norfolk Coast Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.
I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.
There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
Thank you!
