Before I hit 50, I am running the Sheffield Half Marathon for the first time! As well as fulfilling a personal goal, I am wanting to raise money for the palliative care unit at Northern General Hospital. The unit cared beautifully for my dad, Dave Sobucki, before he came home and finally passed away in September 2024. All of the staff there were so dedicated, compassionate and understanding, and offered amazing support both to my dad and to the whole family. Any contribution that you make will be very much appreciated and help support palliative care.
