Story
After some years of respite, I have decided to get my running legs out again to raise awareness and funds for the Child Brain Injury Trust.
Every half an hour in the UK, a child or young person will acquire a brain injury. The Child Brain Injury Trust provides information, support and training to anyone affected by this devastating and life changing condition.
Visit our website www.childbraininjurytrust.org.uk to find out more about us and the work we do.
Some of you will know I participated in the London Marathon in 2018 and I was delighted to receive so many messages of encouragement along my training journey as well as the wonderful charitable donations.
I am hoping you might consider supporting me once more to raise money for CBIT, they really do wonderful work to support families with acquired brain injury and your donations will be gratefully received.
After a couple of weeks set back with a full cold and cough, I am back pounding the pavements. 3 nice runs this week, finishing with a 10k on Sunday. With just 8 weeks of training to go, my training plan is firmly in place and I should hopefully get my final runs nicely up to 12 miles before race day.
