We improve children's lives by providing volunteers to give one-to-one reading practice to children in primary schools. We want to give every child the chance to learn to read well, and reach their full potential. Help us reach more children by getting involved, donating or volunteering.

Story

On 17th August, four of the Kindred team will be tackling the London Royal Parks Challenge. Starting in Bushy Park, the team will walk 50km (31 miles) in one day visiting 10 Royal Parks along the way before finishing at Greenwich Park. We are also delighted to be joined by one of our clients, Sarah from Osborne Clarke. Our team are walking to raise funds for a very special charity, Schoolreaders.

Schoolreaders provides volunteers to primary schools to give one-to-one reading support. They do this to help address the fact that many children are leaving primary school unable to read to the expected level (1 in 4 children in 2018).

We want to raise as much money as possible to support this fantastic charity and give more children the precious gift of being able to read.
