My Story

So as many of you will know back in 2021 aged 38, I was hit with the very unexpected diagnosis of stage 4 breast cancer… following this I had a gruelling 12 months of Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, a double mastectomy and finally a full hysterectomy. Thankfully I kicked cancers butt however it didn’t give up that easily and decided in 2024 to come back for more!

Following my second diagnosis I underwent further chemotherapy and a lumpectomy … another gruelling 12 months, but in January 2025 I got to ring the bell once again and started to build myself back up in readiness for my full breast reconstruction in November 2025.

2026 is my year of not only giving back to this amazing cancer charity but to make lasting and life changing memories for a POSITIVE reason this time!

This September I will set out on a challenging, extraordinary and life-changing trek, all in the name of checking chests! Along with Gi Fletcher and some other famous faces, I will embark on a life changing trek across 5 days across the Great Wall of China, in a bid to raise funds towards CoppaFeel's life-saving mission.

Your donations will not only support my fundraising target, but most importantly CoppaFeel!. They are on a mission to stamp out the late diagnosis of breast cancer by making sure that young people are regularly checking their boobs, pecs and chests and getting to know their bodies in order to have the confidence to see their GP if something just doesn't feel normal.
