Story
In April 2026, I’ll be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in loving memory of my beautiful mum.
My mum bravely lived with Type 1 diabetes for 37 years, and she never let it define her. She was strong, kind, and the heart of our family - she faced every challenge with such courage and always put everyone else first. Losing her has left the biggest hole in our lives, and I miss her every single day.
I’m running to raise vital funds for Diabetes UK because I want to do something positive in her name, to help other families living with Type 1 diabetes today and to support research that might one day lead to a cure.
This run is completely out of my comfort zone and before May I couldn't even run 10 meters, but every step, every mile, and every bit of training is for my mum - and for all the families who need hope, support and better care.
Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can. Your support really will make a massive difference
