Abseil down The Europa · 14 September 2025

OG Cancer NI was formed specifically to benefit patients and families affected by Oesophago-Gastic Cancer in Northern Ireland. We aim to support patients and carers, raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of Oesophago-gastic cancers, fund improvements in treatments and advocate for patients.

Story

On September 14, 2025, a brave team from Ward C5 will embark on an exhilarating challenge: abseiling 120ft down the iconic side of The Europa. This daring feat is not just about conquering heights; it is a heartfelt mission to raise vital funds and awareness for OG Cancer NI.

Founded in 2018, OG Cancer NI is dedicated to supporting patients and families affected by oesophago-gastric cancer. This charity plays a crucial role in educating our community about the early signs and symptoms of this disease, promoting timely intervention that can save lives. Every step we take down that wall represents hope for those battling cancer and a commitment to making a difference in their lives.

We invite you to join us on this journey of courage and compassion. Your generous support can help us reach our target of £1,000, enabling OG Cancer NI to continue its essential work. Together, we can shine a light on this cause and provide the necessary resources for those who need it most. Let’s make every moment count—donate today and be part of something truly inspiring!
