On the 6th March 2026, we, the team at VWJ Earthmoving, will be taking part in YMCA Cheshire’s Sleep Easy 2026 challenge, sleeping rough so others don’t have to.

Together, we will build shelters out of cardboard boxes and masking tape and sleep under the stars for one night—emulating what thousands of people experiencing homelessness in the UK endure every night.

At VWJ Earthmoving, we are committed not only to our work but also to giving back to our community. YMCA Cheshire provides vital short-term accommodation for those who have been sleeping rough. They offer care and support to help them move into long-term, secure accommodation.

We are raising funds so YMCA Cheshire can continue this essential service for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
