Story
I’M RUNNING LONDON MARATHON 😬😱🤯 my first ever full marathon!
I’m fundraising in memory of my amazing father-in-law. He was strong, active & always moving, the man who never stopped running — we lost him suddenly in September 2022 to sarcoma, a cancer we didn’t even know was there. Sarcoma is a charity that urgently needs more research — and that’s my reason for JustGiving. Sarcoma remains under-researched and hard to detect, and I’d love to be able to give back in honour of my father-in-law.
This will be my hardest run to date, but every mile is for you Rob, we love & miss you forever ❤️
I will be documenting my training block throughout the winter - it’s gonna be tough but i am so determined - I have the best reason, cause & support to do this! Roll on April 26!
Thank you for visiting my page. I've chosen to run the 2026 London Marathon for Sarcoma UK, a charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.
Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this.
Your donations go so far in helping the sarcoma community:
£25 Could fund a Research Associate to work on a Sarcoma UK research project for one hour.
£334 Could fund Sarcoma UK's specialist Support Line for a day.
£2,000 Could help with the manufacture of a new-generation drug (PROTAC) which specifically targets sarcoma proteins and could reduce treatment side-effects.
Thank you for helping me make an impact.
