RUNNING FOR REFUGE!
UPDATE: 1st Target 150Km met!!! in 20 runs over 3 weeks
I am continuing to aim for 250Km though
CURRENT TOTAL 171k - 29rund
I am going to run at least 15Km a week over a 10 week period to run to at least 150km… (will likely go for 200-250km) and lose 5kg of weight *(correction i realise i run/walk/run so will likely need to do 250k to get actual 150k of running in!) to raise £1000 for renovating Guhyaloka which is a very special retreat centre high in the spanish mountains and has been the Triratna Buddhist Order's primary place for men's ordination since 1987.This place helps train men to be mindful, wise, courageous and compassionate to live in the world and create and spread peace which is desperately needed right now! So if those qualities mean something to you, I’d be very grateful if you can spare the price of a coffee or a class or a meal to help others 🙏😍over 600 men have been ordained there. to thrive, it needs financial support to raise £300,000 before end of 2026. All donations fund structural work and essential items. Could you help us to buy them?
