Jamie & Gina's fundraiser for Kids' Village

Jamie Gratton is raising money for Kids' Village

Vietnam to Cambodia Bike Ride (600km) · 14 February 2026

The Kids’ Village Big Challenge is back! In February 2026, a group of Kids’ Village supporters will be heading to Saigon, Vietnam to cycle the 600KM to Angkor Wat, Cambodia, led by Alan Chambers MBE.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We (Mum and I) are embarking on a 600km bike ride in 30+ degree heat over 10 days of cycling from Saigon to Angkor Wat. My mum started her work helping charities at 40, walking the great wall of China. And so the time has come to follow in her footsteps and join her on one of her adventures, supporting a fantastic local charity. I hope you all read and understand what a brilliant charity this is and how much it will help so many young children through a very challenging period of their lives! I am truly honoured to be taking part in raising funds for this amazing cause and I only hope my network can all play a small part in this journey also.

Thanks for visiting and hopefully donating what you can.

Below is a brief summary of kids village from their website, please feel free to visit their site to read and support them.

Our History

Kids’ Village was founded by a family who know exactly what the pain and worry feels like when you have a child with a life-threatening illness. Gary and Claire’s daughter Sammie, who’s now 29, was diagnosed with cancer aged nine. The future was uncertain and there were years of operations, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and worry…

What We Do

We’re making a special space in nature for rest, to have fun and to be looked after. This means that (when Kids’ Village is complete) we’ll be able to offer free breaks to families who’ve navigated difficult and exhausting days in hospital, to experience some magic away from the world.

Who We Are

Kids’ Village was founded by The Fletcher family after their own experience with childhood cancer, and is supported by a large supportive network of friends, families and people passionate about making Kids’ Village a success.
