Story
On the 26th August, I will be trekking Mount Snowdon to raise funds to support Himmah's social justice work in the community.
I have a chronic inflammatory arthritis condition but want to challenge myself as well as support others by doing this walk. Moreover, even though the cost of food is slowing down, food prices are still very high! I believe, now is the time to unite, and help those in need in our own community.
Himmah are proud to be the largest Independent food bank in Nottingham, distributing over 300 food parcels per week. This is not possible without your generous donations. Whilst food banks do not address the embedded economic, social and political realities of inequality, they do offer valuable assistance to minoritised communities who are struggling at this time. Please consider donating to Himmah and offering a helping hand to the lives of those in need.
