When I was 8 years old and my brother was 13 we got a knock on the door from the Police that changed our lives forever. Our darling Daddy had passed away on the way to work.

Family life was shattered. Mum did everything she could to support us whilst dealing with her own grief from losing her soulmate.

I remember being put aside at school with an activity whilst the others made Fathers Day cards. That will sit with me forever.

Winston Wish is a charity that support both children and parents through bereavement. I know from experience of not having that outside support how vital it is.

I am hoping to raise funds for them to keep up the great work by running the following Half Marathons:

Windsor Half - 29th September

Royal Parks- 13th October

Remberance Half - 10th November
