**Exceptional Big School 12-Hour Solo Run**
**When:** 7 AM - 7 PM
Join me for a solo run on a flat 5k loop through the grounds of Workshop College. This is a physically and mentally tough challenge—my first time undertaking a solo run for 12 hours.
**HOTH 12-Hour Run**
16th August
Hell On The Humber (HOTH) is an endurance event series like no other. Every year, on the third weekend of August (known as HOTH weekend), hundreds of runners and walkers from across the UK and Europe gather at the iconic Humber Bridge to test their limits. Participants take on the demanding HOTH route for either 6 or 12 hours, aiming to complete as many 4-mile laps as possible during that time. There's no upper mileage limit, and impressive course records exist. All we require is that participants complete a minimum of one 4-mile lap every 3 hours. How hard could it be?
Since the HOTH is predominantly a night race, expect to experience all four seasons while on the bridge in the dark. We’re pretty sure there’s no sunrise more beautiful than the one marking the end of your race after a night in hell.
**The Great North Run**
7th September
I am also participating in the Great North Run, which is the world's largest half marathon, taking place on September 8th. The route begins in the city center, leads towards the River Tyne, crosses the iconic Tyne Bridge, and ends in South Shields. There will even be a display from the Red Arrows.
** Woodhall Spa Triathlon **

Though these events will be physically and mentally challenging—especially as I’m just coming off treatment drugs—I am determined to complete these runs. I am doing this for everyone who is fighting their own battles.
