Story
Since 2022, I have dedicated a portion of my free time for the remarkable charity - Streetvet.
During this period, I have witnessed first-hand the profound significance of pet companionship for people experiencing homelessness. These animals serve as a support system, a friend, and a consistent family member who remains steadfastly by their side through thick and thin.
Many individuals have cherished their pets since before experiencing homelessness, deepening the bond between them and making their pet's well-being a top priority in their lives. This is the strength of a true human-animal bond.
Streetvet's volunteer vets and vet nurses offer essential veterinary care that is easily accessible for people in need. Our services include vaccinations, microchipping, flea and worm treatments, pain relief prescriptions, infections management, surgical procedures, and sometimes just to sit there and listen with compassion.
Embarking on a 100km trek through the Sahara Desert presents a formidable challenge, but I am grateful to have the opportunity to walk alongside my amazing fellow charity volunteers. While undoubtedly demanding, the journey becomes immensely rewarding if we can raise sufficient funds to support more incredible animal patients and their human .
So please, help me achieve my fundraising target. Even a small donation of a pound or two would be greatly appreciated.
Your generosity can make a significant difference in the lives of those we aim to help. Thank you for considering a contribution!

Victims of the UK homelessness epidemic often have scant support, except for, in a growing number of cases, the companionship of their pets.
Many have had their pets since before losing their homes, which makes their bond even more profound, such that their pet's well-being is a life-shaping priority. Our volunteer vets and vet nurses provide accessible fundamental veterinary care. We vaccinate, microchip, treat for fleas and worms, prescribe pain relief, help fight infections, perform surgeries and sometimes just sit and listen.
