The plight of many children afflicted by the terrible conflict in Syria has been close to my heart since attending Xmas fund raising events hosted by Hands Up Foundation. This year featured a school they support in northern Lebanon where the leader pleaded with us not to let them down with funding. The stories are frequently heartbreaking. I’ve never run a marathon, but this convinced me to give it a go and raise as much as I can to help. It may by my only one!! Please believe you can make a difference to the lives of these children and be generous. Hands Up do wonderful work and I’m proud that my son Joe is one of the trustees.
