“Top Mark” 12-hour MND Sail

Crosby Sailing Club

Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre

In memory of a much-loved mate Mark Cunningham, who lost his hard-fought battle with MND in 2021.

In association with Doddie Weir Foundation, who helped and supported Mark in so many ways, a group of friends and family have kept Mark’s memory alive by raising both awareness and funds for the MND Movement, by participating in events such as” Cycle for Doddie” and completing part of the Comino Walk in Northern Spain.

Now we turn to the water to provide another vehicle for the continuing publicity and understanding of the truly horrible condition of MND.

You are invited to join us at anytime and in any way to accompany members of Crosby Sailing Club, on a 12-hour sail. If you want to go for a quick sail, you may be able to hop in a boat, and go for a spin round the lake. It would be an idea to let us know what time you might come down so we can create a schedule should the need arise.

Starting at 8am and finishing at 8pm on Saturday 26.08.23.
