I am one of a record-breaking sixty GSK employees participating in a Tough Mudder on 18th May at Henley on Thames. This will involve 20+ obstacles (such as an ice pit, mud mile, electroshocks, tear gas, fire hoses and a 40ft high A-frame) spread across 15km.

Each employee has a fundraising target of £350 for Save the Children and GSK will match the total raised.

I’ve been working hard on my fitness to prepare for this scary but exciting event. I completed a half-marathon on 21st April and have been working out with free weights and doing core-building exercises in the hope that it makes for a better experience!
