Enzo first found out about Oscar’s Brain Tumour Charity 2.5 years ago when his daughter Sam reached out for support for a young boy, Alfie Hutchinson and his family.

Enzo often asked about the support and was in awe of the work that Oscars do, not just the essential research and the drive for earlier diagnosis but the love and support they give children diagnosed with a brain tumour and their families.

Just over a year later, Enzo was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of lung cancer, large cell carcinoma. Unfortunately, despite tackling gruelling treatments with grit and determination, in September 2025 a large frontal lobe brain tumour was discovered. Enzo underwent brain surgery in October and then further treatment for a 2nd brain tumour, he never complained or gave up, not once.

He fought with all his heart and soul, everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Enzo will be forever proud of the strength, determination and resilience he has shown.

Not only did Enzo love the work of this charity he and his family have unfortunately experienced first hand the devastation that brain tumours can cause.
