Story
This year's Sheriff Hutton Vintage Tractor Run will be held on Saturday 20th June. We are now in our seventh year and, thanks to your support, our last six events have raised over £4000 for charities. This year we will be raising funds in aid of York Hospital's Haematology & Oncology Care for York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity. From the everyday to the transformational, Y&S Hospitals Charity fund improvements to the hospital environments and services which are above and beyond NHS funding. They make the hospital experience the best it can be for all who visit, stay and work there by purchasing new and better equipment, enhancing patient care and experience and supporting training and research.
Our 40 mile tractor run will take us on a scenic journey through the Howardian Hills. Vintage and classic tractors will gather at The Highwayman, Sheriff Hutton before setting off at 10:30AM. Participants will arrive back in Sheriff Hutton at The Castle Inn at approximately 4:30PM.
In addition to our run, we will also be stopping at The Half Moon Inn at 3PM for a fun-filled afternoon, including:
• Tractor display
• Live music
• Street food
• Fully stocked bar
• Confectionary stall
This event will be open to the public, so whether you have a tractor or not, we would love to see you there.
