🐰 Every rabbit deserves a life filled with love, proper care, compassion and understanding.

Violet Bloom was created from a genuine love for rabbits and a desire to help make their lives better.

What started with our own rabbits has grown into a much bigger passion for rabbit welfare, education and rescue awareness. Through our journey, we have seen just how much rabbits can be misunderstood and how many people are unaware of the level of care, commitment and responsibility they require.

One of the rabbits who inspired us most is Snowie.

Snowie came into our lives after being rescued from an auction and arriving home in a Huggies nappy box. His story opened our eyes even further to the reality that many rabbits face and inspired us to use our voice and our social media platforms to help educate others.

We want to turn our passion into something that can make a genuine difference.

Our aim is to build Violet Bloom into a positive platform for rabbit welfare, helping to:

🌿 Educate people about proper nutrition, hay, enrichment and exercise.

❤️ Share information about rabbit health and wellbeing.

🏡 Promote the importance of appropriate housing and living environments.

🩺 Encourage owners to recognise signs that their rabbit may need veterinary care.

🐇 Raise awareness of the number of rabbits that need rescue and rehoming.

📚 Create educational resources for new and existing rabbit owners.

🎥 Use social media to reach more people with helpful and informative rabbit welfare content.

🤝 Support and collaborate with established rescue organisations and animal welfare groups where possible.

Creating educational content, supporting welfare initiatives and helping rabbits requires resources.

We would like to raise funds to help us build Violet Bloom into a stronger rabbit welfare and education platform and, where appropriate, support rabbit rescue and welfare efforts.

Donations may help towards:

* Hay and appropriate food for rabbits in need

* Enrichment and welfare supplies

* Appropriate housing and exercise equipment

* Educational materials and leaflets

* Printing and distributing rabbit welfare information

* Creating educational social media content

* Supporting veterinary or welfare needs where appropriate

* Making donations to or supporting established rabbit rescue organisations

* Helping us develop future rabbit welfare projects and initiatives

We are committed to being transparent about how money raised is used and will provide updates wherever possible so that supporters can see the difference their generosity is helping to make.

£5 could help provide basic supplies.

£10 could contribute towards food, hay or enrichment.

£25 could help with more substantial welfare supplies.

£50 or more could help us contribute towards larger welfare projects or support for rabbits in need.

Every donation will be appreciated, no matter how big or small.

Our dream is for Violet Bloom to grow into a trusted and positive voice for rabbit welfare.

We want to help people understand that rabbits are not “easy” pets or starter animals. They are intelligent, social and sensitive creatures who deserve the same level of care, respect and commitment as any other beloved companion.

We want to encourage better welfare, responsible ownership and a greater understanding of the needs of these wonderful animals.

We also hope to build relationships with established rabbit rescues and animal welfare organisations, learn from their experience and find ways that Violet Bloom can support the important work they already do.
