Faced with a child's illness, life can stop overnight and parents enter a world of fear and worry. For parents who don't live close to the medical care their child needs, there's an added stress: distance. Most families have to travel for hours for treatment. Living expenses quickly add up. Long drives, lost jobs, worried siblings, and sleeping in cars, being far from family and friends can be stressful. These are extra burdens no family should have to experience.

RMHC can help with that and make many lives more manageable. Every single dollar raised makes a difference. I chose Ronald McDonald House Charities Of Central Texas for a school "kindness project" because it is home to a lot of younger individuals, mostly children. And since I am a kid, that means a lot to me. I think that it helps so many people and I am so astonished that they can aid all those people as a nonprofit organization. So I think it is important to give them money so they can help more kids.
