It all started around 12 years ago, when with a few good friends we decided to raise money for children in care homes in Bulgaria. It was incredibly heartbreaking to see those brilliant kids having to grow up without parents and a loving home. But we quickly realised that by far the biggest issue was that as soon they turned 18, they had to leave the home with no prospect of employment, education or any way to support themselves and lead a normal life.

This is why we made it our mission to select a few children each year and invest in their education to enable them to progress to university and fulfil their dreams and hope of a normal life. Every single pound raised goes directly towards the tuition; support and meeting the needs of those children. All of us invest our time voluntarily to mentor, coach and emotionally support the children as they navigate the tricky teenage years and transition into university.

This is just the beginning and with your help, we hope to grow the “Equal Opportunities” charity and enable it to take on more children and change more lives for the better.
