Virgate was founded in 2016 by Sarah Travell, initially focusing on bookkeeping and accountancy for the hospitality industry.

Since then, we’ve grown into a dynamic accounts team supporting SMEs across multiple industries throughout the UK — providing bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and reporting services that adapt to different business models.

We are now proud to be partners with The Nelson Trust, a charity that has spent almost 40 years helping people across the South West and Wales rebuild their lives after addiction, trauma and hardship, supporting over 1,000 people every year through their Women's Centres, residential recovery programmes, and community services.
