Story
On the 11th May, my brother in law and I will be running 10k in the Hereford Run to raise money for St Michael’s Hospice.
St Michael’s is a local Hereford charity and hospice and they’re currently supporting our family with the end of life care for my Dad. We've met so many amazing nurses, physios and occupational therapists who have been so helpful and caring in this challenging time.
I have only started running in Feb so am pretty nervous for my first 10k!
This run through my hometown feels poignant and the route will go past my Dad’s house along the river and he’ll hopefully be able to watch from home : )
If you can spare a couple of pounds to help raise money for this essential charity we would be so grateful!
Please cross your fingers for me! Luckily my brother in law is running with me so he can carry me over the finish line should I need him to!

The Hospice multi-disciplinary team includes doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, complementary therapists, social workers, chaplains and counsellors. These specialist Hospice staff work together and often in partnership with the NHS to relieve patients’ symptoms, control their pain and help them to live well until the end of life. It is vital that everyone that needs it has the appropriate care and support they need to cope with the complex feelings and lifestyle changes caused by a terminal illness.
