Gin Runs The London Marathon 2025

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
UPDATE - In a very unfortunate turn of events, I have managed to fracture my femur and so have sadly had to pull out of the race. I will hopefully be back up and running in the next few months and hope to run the London marathon in 2026.
On 27 April 2025, I will be running the London Marathon for St John’s Hospice in memory of my wonderful grandmother (Giagia) who passed away on 14 May this year.
For those of you who know me well, Giagia was one of the most important people in my life - a second mother. Throughout a difficult period of grief, my family and I have found huge solace and felt real gratitude for having been able to spend our final moments with Giagia at St John’s Hospice.
It is an incredible charity that provides outstanding care to people in their final days. The hospice is committed to celebrating and amplifying life, enabling people to live well for as long as possible, and provides care to over 4,000 people across North London each year. I am passionate about raising money for St John’s Hospice, so that the charity can continue its fantastic work and as many people as possible are able to benefit from the outstanding level of care Giagia and my family were so fortunate to receive. I would be hugely grateful for any donations to help support this remarkable cause.
I intend to start training (actually train this time round and attempt to avoid injuring myself) at the beginning of 2025 - so let’s see how much time I can shave off my first 3 hour 30 min attempt in October 2022.
