DURHAM STUDENT FIGHT NIGHT, 2 March 2024
We raise money for Testicular Cancer to improve awareness and save lives!

Story

Over the next 7 weeks, I will be training for participation in Round 7 of Durham Student Fight Night. This involves an intense training programme that will hopefully turn my complete lack of boxing skills into something worth watching. At the end of the 7 weeks (2nd March 2024) I will be entering the ring for the big night and taking on another fighter.

Whatever the outcome, this is all in aid of an incredibly important cause – raising awareness for testicular cancer. Testicular Cancer is the most prominent cancer in men aged 15-49, with around 2,400 new cases in the UK every year, that's more than 6 every day. However, if detected early, Testicular Cancer is one of the most curable cancers.

I am therefore raising money for The OddBalls Foundation, the UK's leading Testicular Cancer awareness charity. All donations big and small are really appreciated so please give what you can to support me and this amazing cause!

About the charity

The OddBalls Foundation is the UK's leading charity raising awareness of Testicular Cancer. We educate people on the basics of Testicular Cancer, remove the stigma and encourage regular self checking to promote early diagnosis; ultimately, saving lives! #FightingCancerTakesBalls
