Cancer Research UK's mission is to bring about a world where everybody can lead longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.

Everyone in our orchestra knows someone affected by cancer. We know or are cancer survivors, have supported people through cancer and lost loved ones. It's a cause that matters to many of us and to our audience. We also firmly believe that music can be a force for good in many ways - and fundraising is just one of them.
