Dan Smith and I are raising funds for two causes close to our hearts. We are both former international wheelchair fencers, and we both currently support wheelchair sports as coaches and organisers of clubs and camps. WheelPower plays a huge part in providing activities for disabled people, to help them recover their self-esteem and self confidence. WheelPower also helps The Sabre Trust, a charity that provides small grants to disabled people who want to take part in, or coach, wheelchair fencing, by providing fencing kit, equipment and help with competition fees and other expenses.

We are both Trustees of The Sabre Trust, and as coaches, we help WheelPower as volunteers at their events.
