Yes - I must have lost all sense of rational thought. Just 3 weeks before my 50th birthday, I am going to abseil off the 100 metre high Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth! All to raise much needed funds for Age UK - Isle of Wight.

Age UK IW offer lots of services to support our older islanders - including but not limited to support in their homes and gardens, after discharge from hospital, mental health support, signposting for help and daily respite support for families who are carers.

We are - hopefully - all going to get old. And when we do, we will be incredibly grateful for the work of charities such as Age UK IW. Please support me if you can - I'm pretty terrified and will need to know that you all have my back!
