The Donne Foundation

The Donne Foundation is a UK-based charity working internationally to champion women and non-binary musicians, with a particular focus on addressing inequality in classical music programming. Through research, advocacy, and practical initiatives, Donne highlights how historically women’s music has been overlooked — and how those patterns continue today, not only in how often works are programmed, but in how much time they are given on stage. By partnering with orchestras, broadcasters, educators, and artists, the Foundation supports lasting change that broadens the repertoire and ensures greater equity in who is heard. This concert is a fundraiser in support of Donne’s ongoing work.
