ABOUT CANDU:

CanDu consists of a group of patients and survivors who are passionate about placing the patient at the heart of service design and delivery in cancer care and treatment. As well as creating their own projects and co-producing work with other organisations, they are also influencers, scrutinisers and we represent the cancer 'voice' on a variety of strategic boards at every level of decision making.

This includes participation on the NHS Tayside Cancer Overview Group, NHS Public Partner activities, NHS TaysideTransforming Care After Treatment Steering Group, Dundee Cancer Health & Wellbeing Steering Group, Macmillan & DCC Improving the Cancer Journey Voices Panel, Project Team and Board and the University of Dundee, School of Nursing Public Involvement Group and Teaching Board.

CanDu's hope is to be able to represent the needs of cancer patients in Dundee at both a local and national level going forward and want to make sure your voice is heard!!
