Story
Abigail, Michelle and Anoushka are forming the VSAC Tri-hards to participate in the Triathlon of Compassion and fundraising to aid Victoria Sexual Assault Centre (VSAC).
We are racing and raising funds to support VSACs services, including their 24-hour Clinic that provides emergency support and medical care for recent survivors, crisis counselling, criminal justice system support, and violence prevention initiatives. These programs are important because when a survivor receives immediate, compassionate care it has a significant impact on their healing.
We are all staff members at VSAC, so are able to see first-hand the important and life-changing work that VSAC does for the community. Abigail is the Indigenous Response Network Coordinator, Michelle is the Indigenous Crisis Counsellor and Anoushka is a Program Coordinator in Prevention.
The Victoria Sexual Assault Centre provides trauma-informed sexual assault support services and prevention education free of charge to survivors and the community. They rely on fundraising to sustain their programs.
Will you donate toward our fundraising goal? Any amount makes a difference, even $1. The VSAC Tri-hards thank you!
