A team of mostly non-runners from Waddington will be taking on the Lincoln Half Marathon on Sunday the 4th October 2025.

We are doing this to raise money for The James Anthony Foundation, which was set up by one of our team members and his family, in memory of their son.

James was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour aged just 2. After multiple reoccurrences, different treatment types and countless brain surgeries, James sadly passed away aged 8.

James' family set up the charity to help families like theirs. To support and put smiles on the faces of children going through the most difficult of times. They provide Lego and Sensory toys to children going through cancer treatment, along with their superhero siblings. They also give vouchers to families and do large hospital drop offs of Lego and toys.
