Research into thyroid disease is vital. That's why we set up our annual BTF Research Award 25 years ago. Since then, we've invested over £500k into research to help improve patient outcomes. With your help we can continue funding thyroid research.

Story

Thyroid diseases affect many people in the UK. Despite being common, funding for thyroid research is shockingly scarce.

I am the Thyroid Champion in our Ability Network, and have long-standing personal experience of dealing with thyroid issues, so I know how much of an impact it can have on a person's life, most of which is often invisible to those around them. Treatment and education are both massively important.

Over its 25 year history, the British Thyroid Foundation has invested over £500,000 into vital thyroid research. This has only been possible thanks to donations from people like you.

Please help them continue to fund the next generation of researchers by making a donation. This will help improve diagnosis and treatment and lead to better outcomes for thyroid patients both today and in the future. In addition, it will allow them to continue offering support and advice to anyone living with a thyroid condition.

Thank you.
