WAES is raising money for Jeans for Genes.

Having created the Jeans for Genes campaign nearly 30 years ago, the CGD Society is pleased to be taking back the reins, with its objective to raise much needed funds for the genetic disorders community.

Jeans for Genes Week is the UK’s only fund and awareness raising week for ALL genetic conditions in the UK. Over 3.5 million people are living with a genetic condition, affecting 1 in 10 families. 75% of rare diseases affect children.

The CGD Society funds small, community groups across the UK who don’t tend to get access to traditional funding. They fund specialised equipment, nursing services, respite for carers, helplines – whatever is needed!
