The Wyvern Afinado Guitar Orchestra (WAGO) is running a 24hr marathon guitar ensemble sight-reading event (a WAGOthon) on 27/28 January 2024 in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
Three separate ensembles (the WAGOners, the WAGOnettes and WAGOntrain) are vying to raise the most funds for Alzheimer's. Join us to watch the event, in person or via our live-stream, any time from midday 27 Jan 24 to midday 28 Jan 24. Hopefully, it will persuade you to send a gift to the Alzheimer's Society in support of the WAGOners ensemble's efforts.
Alzheimer's Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.
Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
