Story

Hello, my name is Wail Ramla. I'm 24 years old and from Algeria, and I’m reaching out with a hopeful heart to ask for your support in helping me pursue my university education abroad.

📚 Why I Need Your Help

I started my studies in Algeria as a computer science major, but due to financial difficulties, I couldn’t finish my degree. I had to work to support myself, and like many students here, I faced an outdated education system that offers little opportunity for a better future even with a diploma.

Rather than giving up, I focused on gaining hands-on experience. For the past 4 years, I’ve been working in marketing, a field I’m passionate about. It hasn’t been easy. Algeria’s average salary is around $250 per month, which barely covers basic needs. But I kept pushing forward, learning, and growing.

🌍 A Life-Changing Internship in Turkey

Recently, I had the chance to do a 6-month internship in Turkey. I borrowed €1,000 from my family to take that opportunity and managed to save around €1,500. I haven’t paid back the loan yet. I’ve been hoping to use the money to take the next step: finding a job or university abroad to build a better future.

🎓 My Dream: Study Marketing & International Trade in Europe

My goal is to study Marketing, Sales, and International Trade at a university in Europe. I speak Arabic, English, and French fluently, and some Turkish. I believe this multilingual ability, along with my experience, makes me a strong candidate for success in the field.

After researching affordable universities, I’ve found good options in Poland, Romania, and Lithuania. I’m focusing on Poland, where tuition fees and living costs are more manageable, and students are allowed to work part-time to support themselves.

Unfortunately, I don’t qualify for scholarships because I don’t have high academic scores. But I do have passion, resilience, and a deep commitment to building a better life for myself and my family.

💰 Why I Need €10,000

To begin my journey, I need to raise around €10,000, which will cover:

University tuition (first year): €3,500–€4,500

Student visa application and residence permit: €200–€300

Health insurance and university fees: €300

Flight and travel expenses: €400–€500

Initial housing deposit and first months' rent: €1,000

Basic living costs for the first few months (until I find a part-time job): €2,500

This amount will help me get settled, focus on my studies, and avoid financial stress in the critical early stage of this journey. Once I’m there, I plan to work part-time to support myself independently.

❤️ Final Words

I’m not asking for charity. I’m asking for a chance. A chance to prove that with the right opportunity, I can thrive. If you believe in hard work, second chances, and helping someone with potential who simply didn’t have the means, I would be forever grateful for your support.
