Story
Starting this March, I'll be undertaking a 3,200 km hike across the length of mainland Japan from the southernmost point in Kagoshima to the northernmost point in Hokkaido to raise money for the British Red Cross.
Recently, the British Red Cross has become a particularly special charity to me, and right now it feels like a more important cause than ever. It's been so easy to become completely overwhelmed and disillusioned by the current state of global affairs that it can be hard to know where to even begin to make a difference.
But I believe that the Red Cross is truly a worthwhile and unifying cause, helping those most affected by global conflict regardless of borders, race, or creed at a time when what we most need is solidarity.
