The Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation is inviting sponsors, partners and members of the Wakefield Community to come together to walk from Wakefield Trinity's DIY Kitchens Stadium to Castleford’s The Jungle Stadium ahead of their local derby cash on Friday 5th September 2025.

Those taking part will be encouraged to raise a minimum of £20 per person, which will go towards their match ticket, with the remainder being split between the Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation, and the Wakefield Children's Bed Appeal.

Participants will set off from the DIY Kitchen's Stadium around 4pm, with a 3.30pm arrival being encouraged, before starting their 8.2-mile hike through the Northern Villages, arriving in Castleford for approximately 7pm, with kick off at 8pm. (Don’t worry, there will be plenty of drink stops along the way!)
