Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Following last year's walk along Offa's Dyke, I'm returning to Wales in 2026 to take on another National Trail, Glyndŵr's Way.
Over five days, I'll be walking the 75-mile section from Knighton to Machynlleth, crossing some of the most remote and scenic landscapes in Mid Wales. Named after Owain Glyndŵr, the trail passes through rolling farmland, open moorland, forests and historic market towns, offering a demanding but rewarding route through the heart of Wales.
As with previous challenges, I'm undertaking the walk to raise funds for the ECMO team at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital. Their expertise, dedication and life-saving work make a real difference to families facing critical illness, and I'm pleased to support them once again.
Over five days, I will cover approximately 75 miles:
Day 1: Knighton to Felindre (15 miles)
Day 2: Felindre to Abbeycwmhir (15.5 miles)
Day 3: Abbeycwmhir to Llanidloes (15.5 miles)
Day 4: Llanidloes to Dylife (14.5 miles)
Day 5: Dylife to Machynlleth (14.5 miles)
The daily distances are slightly shorter than my previous long-distance walks, allowing me to manage recovery from a recent knee injury while fully enjoying this remarkable section of Glyndŵr's Way.
Every donation, large or small, will help support their work and is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your support. 🙏
