Story
When you're told your Mum has cancer it winds you like you'd never believe - worse than any rugby tackle. Shock and panic are a challenge so you focus on giving emotional support, reminding them to take medication, and thinking what else you can do.
Myself and Mum's godson Jamie will climb to Mount Everest Base Camp + Summit Kala Patthar (18,527 ft) in March. We are collecting donations for Macmillan Cancer Support helping anyone who faces this difficult journey.
Mum's endless passion for the NHS over thirty years service, unbreakable positivity in the face of adversity, and kindness building genuine connections whilst being famous for her constant smile are qualities I aspire to have.
100% of donations go to charity.
We won't give in!
