At the end of June, the Fairplay Independent Living Group Plus are completing a 5k sponsored walk/roll/push around Queen’s Park to raise money for their summer trips in 2026!

At Fairplay we support children and young people with disabilities and complex health needs across North Derbyshire. We offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of families, including parent support groups and 24 hour care and respite.

Our ILG Plus group provides support to young people with complex health care needs that may be life-threatening or life-limiting. We provide a person-centred, flexible service that gives the young people the support they need, and the opportunity to take part in positive experiences that make a real difference to their lives.

The ILG Plus group love spending time out and about in the community and on trips all over Derbyshire! We are completing this “Walk and Wheels” challenge to raise money to be able to access bigger trips, such as to the seaside or the zoo!
