We are four friends who met volunteering at Bank Farm RDA on Saturdays. Over the Easter holidays we are walking 10 miles, to Ivinghoe Beacon and back, to raise funds for the charity.

Bank Farm RDA helps disabled children by teaching them to ride and care for ponies. Riding gives them confidence, freedom and independence, while spending time with the volunteers and ponies helps build responsibility, trust and self-belief. We have seen first-hand how much the charity means to the children who come to ride. We also get so much from volunteering there- we’ve made friends and learnt new skills.

We wanted to do something more to help, so we’ve set ourselves this challenge to raise funds for Bank Farm RDA. Any sponsorship, big or small, would mean so much and will help Bank Farm RDA keep doing its incredible work. Thanks so much for supporting us- we really appreciate it!
