Emily and Liv’s fundraiser for Day One Trauma Support

Emily And Liv is raising money for Day One Trauma Support
In memory of Vicky

Walk to Lyme Park · 22 March 2026

When lives are shattered by a life-changing injury Day One Trauma Support is there to help piece them back together. We are the only national charity to provide personalised care to anyone affected by a catastrophic injury of any kind, their loved ones and their families – for as long it takes.

Story

In September, the three of us went on a girly holiday to Ibiza to make memories together. Tragically, on our final day, our lives changed forever when we were hit by a drug-driven driver whilst we were walking to the bus stop to go into the old town. Heartbreakingly, we lost our beautiful friend Vicky as a result of the injuries she sustained, and we both suffered significant physical and emotional trauma.

Since then, our journey to recovery has been long and ongoing. We truly wouldn’t be where we are today without the incredible support around us. Alongside our amazing friends and family, Day One Trauma Support has been there every step of the way, providing vital medical, legal and emotional support when we needed it most.

To give something back and raise awareness for this life-changing charity, we’re inviting you to join us for a walk to Lyme Park on Sunday 22nd March. By walking together, we hope to honour Vicky — who loved a good walk (and dogs, so please bring them along!) — support others facing trauma, and raise funds for a charity that makes a difference when people need it most.
